Transaction Fees
Transaction fees are charged by credit card companies like Visa and MasterCard and are collected on every credit card purchase made. These fees are usually percentage based and are collected by the credit card company at the time of transaction. Online registrations paid by check or money order are not charged any transaction fee.
Getting Your Own Merchant Account
Through our partnership with Moneris, we offer you the ability to get your own merchant account services by opening an account directly with them. A merchant account of your own allows you to accept all major credit cards, as well as echecks, and deposits all money collected directly and immediately into your bank account. A live Moneris representative working on our behalf will contact you directly to begin the application process after we receive your initial request. Once this is complete you will have an integrated solution to collect money online without worry, along with a detailed payment report provided in your administrator by esportsdeskpro.com. Using Our Merchant Account
You have the option to direct monies collected on your esportsdeskpro.com website to our merchant account so you don't need to setup your own or go through any other hassles. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express and can process payments in Canadian or US Dollars. We charge a 4% transaction fee (covers the costs of our merchant account and our accounting and administrative costs) and send you a check for the amount you collect less transaction and convenience fees at the end of each month.
Checks and Money Orders
You may want to offer the ability to pay by check or money order but still collect all the registration data online using our online registration tools. You can choose to offer this option in conjunction with any of the above solutions. Our payment report allows you to update the receipt of checks to this report while all the credit cards payments are posted automatically. The online registration setup process allows you to post information that lets registrants know where to make-out and mail their check or money orders to. When using online registration, there are no transaction fees when registrants choose to pay by check or money order. While setting up your online registration, you have the opportunity to decide whether to include the transaction fee in the cost of registration or to charge the transaction fee back to the registrant. You can also choose to share the fees on a percentage basis.
